We put the network in the ground
AMS Utilities is a Gulf Coast underground utility contractor and fiber-optic construction crew. We self-perform directional boring, trenching, conduit, and fiber placement for the utilities, telecoms, and contractors building the Southeast's networks.

Seven capabilities, one accountable crew
AMS bores, trenches, plows, places conduit, sets vaults, pulls fiber, and installs water and sewer lines — the full scope of an underground job, self-performed with our own fleet.

Underground Fiber & Cable Placement
Placing and pulling fiber and cable through conduit and direct-bury paths — the payoff step that lights up the network.

Directional Boring & HDD
Horizontal directional drilling (HDD) to install conduit and fiber underground without open-cut trenching — under roads, driveways, landscaping, and waterways.

Conduit & Duct Installation
Installation of conduit, duct, and innerduct — the protective pathway system that carries and protects fiber and cable underground.

Trenching & Excavation
Open-cut trenching and excavation for conduit, duct banks, and direct-bury cable where an open path is the right call.

Vibratory Plowing
Vibratory plowing to install cable and conduit quickly with minimal ground disturbance across long, open runs.

Vault, Handhole & Pedestal Installation
Setting vaults, handholes, and pedestals — the access points where fiber and cable are pulled, spliced, and serviced.

Water & Sewer Line Installation
Water mains, service lines, and sanitary and storm sewer — installed by bore or open cut with the crews and equipment behind AMS's underground utility work.
The sub utilities and primes can count on.
We Self-Perform
Boring, trenching, plowing, conduit, vault setting, and fiber pulls are done by our own crews — not handed to a chain of subs. One accountable contractor, start to finish.
We Own the Fleet
Eight directional drills, four vacuum trucks, six excavators, and four plows. Our equipment is ours, so it's ready when your schedule calls for it.
Full-Scope Jobs
We don't cherry-pick the easy footage. AMS takes the whole scope — bore the crossings, trench the run, set the vaults, pull the fiber — and delivers it complete.
Family-Run, Truly Cares
A family business since 2010, built on doing the work the right way — for the client, the utility, and the public. That reputation is how we win the next job.
